We've done loads of musical activities with this song. We have: - marked the pulse with actions - maintained a rhythmic ostinato - matched instruments to the verbs - rehearsed and then performed to an audience (Mr Telford)
The file was too big to post on the website so Mrs Bowden has had to split it in to two parts but we hope you enjoy it.
Going bananas part 2
5th October - The Sound Collector
[Will play 'the-sound-collector.mp3']
We have been exploring the timbre of instruments in our music today. We read the poem 'The Sound Collector' by Roger McGough and then we tried to match the sounds in the poem with instrumental or vocal sounds. We listened to everybody's sounds first to see if we could improve them in any way. This is our final version. We hope you like it.
