Marvellous Magnets

Can you use what you have learnt about magnets to help the M.I. High team out again?

Slippery Science!

We have been investigating friction this week in Class 6 - testing how far a car travels on different surfaces. Try out this game and see if you can use the results of our experiment to help the agents of M.I.High

Wow what an action packed week! The children have definitely been using their creative learning powers! They have been creating descriptive music for a sea creature with Mrs Bowden. The children were encouraged to think carefully about which instruments would best represent the different creatures. We have also finally finished the Tudor pouches which they designed. It has taken a while to stitch the pouches and Mrs McDonough has been very patient working with the children in small groups. The final products are amazing and I know the children are very proud of them. We hope you like them too! smiley

Year 3 children had a great day at Rock and River on Monday. They faced lots of new challenges and really impressed the teachers with their efforts and determination. Well done!

We have had great fun in French this afternoon learning all about different colours. Mrs Baird brought in a wide selection of teddies and we had to tell our partner the colours we could see on ours! Vert, rouge, bleu, blanc, jaune, rose or noir?

French colour fun!

I have finally managed to upload some photographs to our class page and will try to do this more often!

This afternoon we have made the most of the sunny weather and have been doing athletics on the field. The children worked very well on the carousel of activities including, throwing using a sling action, jumping the stream and throwing for accuracy. At the end of the lesson, the children used peer assessment to identify what different children had done particularly well! We then watched some examples of good practice. We were all more than ready for a drink when we came in!

Well done a great afternoon smiley

Keeping fit in the sun!

Welcome to Class 6!
